TECSA Tanks was founded in 1994 in the city of Chihuahua, Mexico, by the vision of Mr. Gastone Guglielmina to supply the growing demand of Double Wall Underground Storage tanks for flammable liquids. After searching the world over for the best storage technologies, TECSA decided to purchase a license to manufacture the PERMATANK®, still considered by most experts as the best available technology in the world for Underground Storage Tanks. TECSA Tanks is an active member of the Steel Tank Institute.

Over the years, TECSA has been the proud recipient of numerous Quality Awards and Certificates of Achievement, granted by the Steel Tank Institute, for their outstanding excellence in the Steel Tank Institute Quality Program.

TECSA TANKS is certified and licensed by the Steel Tank Institute to build several of its Technologies. We closely follow STI’s Quality Assurance Program, which is audited several times a year for compliance.

TECSA has also been certified to manufacture pressure vessels under ASME Code, Section VIII, Div. 1 (certificate number U-53074).
